A - Pours out as a dark red clear body, minimal white head, fades out to nothing, with no real lacing.
S - Strong hit of acid, lactic in quality, with a pungent berry hit over the top.
T - Follows that nose, but with strong blackberry highlights over a more standard sour note. Finish is brings berry and funk in equal hits.
M - Tart puckering sourness, forward, and lingering over the finish. Not a quick drinker, but satisfying.
O - The fruit here is spot on, delicious and rewarding. The sourness is pretty one dimensional, but with the richness of blackberry is quite satisfying.

Hidden away in the barrel cache of the Taxman Reserve cellar, our barrel-fermented golden blonde ale lies in wait, collecting fruit as it comes into season. A combination of bacteria, wild yeast and time produced a bright, dry and tart ale ripe for blending. Overflowing with blackberry aromas and tart fruit notes, this crimson sour ale is one to store away or enjoy today.
