Poured on draft in a snifter. Heavily foamy, creamy appearance. Dark brown body with tan bubbles that have crazy retention that I personally find attractive. The nose is all bourbon, with perhaps some faint traces of cocoa and malts. surprisingly well balanced coca nib and bourbon flavors that commingle effervescently. The bourbon, vanilla, and oak notes bounce around up front with a rich chocolate finish. The coffee is there but subdued. Alcohol is well masked for 13% abv. Rich and creamy mouthfeel due to the carbonation, but on top of a thin base. Overall it is quite good.
