12 oz can, dated 8/27/20, into White Elm WB.
A fully opaque orange tea color with a very tall head that takes up half the glass. It leaves tons of lacing as it gradually recedes...slowly...slowly.
Aroma from the can is pineapple upside down cake with cherry, and some slight frosted coconut shred. Very dessert-y. Aroma from the glass is more pineapple juice/shreds. Very juicy and fruity from the glass.
Flavor. Whoa. What the hell. This is vile. Cardboard, spoiled hops, sour coconut milk, jarred baby food, licking the bottom of a soggy expired pineapple crate, and at the tail end there's a huge hit of offensive rum barrel, like I got smacked in the face by a Caribbean cruise line. The quarter point is because of the barrel presence - its ridiculous heat distracts from the rest of this mess.
Feel is slick and medium bodied, semi-creamy, and hot hot hot. Overly hot.
Overall, safe to say I won't touch this thing ever again. This was awful. Kill it with fire.

12oz canned 8/27/20 ( about a month ago) poured into a snifter at fridge temp 9% ABV 13 IBU. The beer pours slightly hazy orange amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a thin ring single layer of tiny bubbles. No lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring spiced rum, pineapple & coconut. The taste is semisweet tangy pineapple with hints of coconut and rum barrel. Nearly no bitterness, yet not sweet. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. No hint of the ABV in the taste or aroma. Overall, good, if you're into these types of things. I can't say that this beer mimics a Piña Colada, but only because it's not super sweet. All the flavors are there.
