Good times are predicted with S'morecast, our Belgian-style dark ale inspired by rich, creamy s'mores. This ale features a biscuity, rich body from lactose and sweet molasses. Notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate and vanilla are also trending high in this decadent treat.

I wanted to like it but it just wasn’t doing it for me. Can looks great (4.75/5). The beer itself looks amazing, smells unique in a good way, tastes like someone dumped a light hearted ale into a low cal winter warmer, feels light yet viscous which I don’t like but I’m sure others would enjoy it. Overall kinda surprised it’s retired hopefully they rerelease it after a few changes.
Edit: 1 year later I’ve learned that this one isn’t retired, but it’s just a seasonal. Unfortunately it doesn’t merit a revisit as there’s many better options out there around this time of year. Instead of tasting like s’mores it tastes like a conglomeration of flavors that don’t really work together.

12oz canned 11/10/20 (one month ago) poured into a snifter at fridge temp 6% ABV 20 IBU. The beer pours dark brown with thick medium brown head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. The aroma is faint with lactose sweetness and possibly a hint of graham & cocoa. The taste is semisweet & spiced with the cinnamon, vanilla and and chocolate all there before the it settles into a Belgian dark ale. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium plus bodied with average carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Overall, good. The aroma is just unpleasant to me and I'm not a huge cinnamon-in-my-beer fan. It's well made and I can see some people loving it.
