A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a thin layer of tan bubbles covering the surface and left just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of peanut butter are preset in the nose along with notes of cacao nibs.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of cocoa nibs are stronger than those of the peanut butter and there are notes of bourbon from the barrel aging towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought this stout was well done as neither the peanut butter and bourbon were overpowering.
