Midnight black stout pour with a light brown cap. Smell and taste have the dark chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut and coffee but the roasted malt causes the roasted notes of the coffee and earthy nuttiness to be all that is left. Feel is roasty yet light bodied, dry. Disappointing

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, patchy beige head. Aroma flavors the coffee with latent hazelnut, chocolate. Taste is roasty and dark, burnt toast, nutty and coffee notes. More bitter than the Vanilla Maple .

Poured at 51°. Canned . Black with ruby see through. Fizzy tan head with some rocks that disappeared quickly leaving a small island of micro dots and a thin ring. Very small spots of lace and no legs on swirl. Sweet malt and coriander nose; some nuttiness as beer warmed. Clove and boozy hazelnut; very little vanilla, oak or bourbon. Hot alcohol burn on tip of tongue; light body, moderate minus carbonation; face flushing warmth from 13.7% abv; watery feel. Overall, this is a semi-sweet beer; some nuttiness, but the Belgian aspect is the dominant flavor.
