VERY potent, coffee taste, but the ABV sneaks up. I have ONLY ever been able to have 1 sip before I can't have anymore.

Look – Dark oil body. Thick tan head. No lacing.
Smell – Sweet Belgian Smarties. Chocolate. Sour.
Taste – Sweet Belgian. Sour finish. Not as much chocolate as expected.
Feel – No complaints here. Milky smooth.
Overall – Not what I expected with the Belgian traits. Thudstaff.

Enjoyed from a growler from Country Fresh market and wine depot. This beast pours a thick black with a dissipating dark brown head of foam that forms into a thin ring with spotty lacing. Nose of bitter bakers chocolate, black strap molasses, and thick chewy coffee. Flavors are up front bitter black coffee and bakers chocolate on all sides, a dash of molasses/dark brown sugar sweetness comes through on the back with deeply roasted malts and dark cocoa. Decent carbonated mouth feel keeps it lively while the strong alcohol keeps this one a sipper.
A monster of an imperial for the stout lover.
Will keep my eye on this brewer, this one really turned my head.
