330 ml bottle purchased and consumed in Corinth, Greece.
Pours dark red-brown with a generous light tan head. The head has good retention and leaves streaks of sticky lacing.
The aroma is malty with a touch of hops. The flavor is sweet and malty.

O: OK as a Scotch Ale, and probably the only one made in Greece.

Quite a bit of randomness here, with Alexander the Great on one side and "scotch ale" on the other.
Still, it pours as it should, dark orange to ruby, creamy light beige head that lingers quite a while.
Smell of biscuit, caramel, overripe oranges, some raisin, plum jam and faint honey.
Mix of toasted bread and citrus in the start (lemon zest, some sweet orange and bitter peel). Biscuity crust, faint dark fruit, pretty toned down and bland. Finishes wheaty, dry, with faint hops and a weird off note in the mild bitterness.
Pretty light bodied, watery at times, medium carbonation.
A pretty bad showing of the style, but not a horrible beer, managing to give of some nice aromas before the bad notes pile up.
