On the light side for a red both in colour and mouth feel, but good malty nose, full and tasty with subtle hop spicing

Clear orange-amber with a smallish head. Mostly malt on the nose with a hint of spicy hops. Taste is of a good red ale with some added hoppiness, pushing to the edge of a Red IPA style. Feel is just crisp enough.

Gorgeous color. Nose is virtually nonexistent. Very hop-forward, yet malty. Feels more akin to an IPA, save for a bit of caramel on the backend. Solid drinker, but definitely left-of-center for a Red.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Very clear, red-copper body with a good head and some sticky lacing.
Medium body and lively carbonation. The aroma is more hop forward than the flavor. Nicely balanced flavor with spicy hops mixing with bready malts. Faint coffee and roasted nuts notes.
Overall: A well crafted but rather undistinctive red ale, although the flavor may be a touch more hoppy/spicy than average for style.

S: Citrus, maybe a touch of caramel.
T: Grapefruit rind balanced with caramel.

A decent brew but just lacking a bit of depth. Nice caramel malt backbone and a non-descript bitter hop punch. Easy drinking but not raising eyebrows.
