I'm gonna sum this beer up in a few sentences...the beer looks and smells pretty decent. Deep gold in color, nice head, and the nose is fruity and hoppy. But that shouldn't convince you this is a great beer. The taste is pithy hops, with a lingering bitterness. Not necessarily bad, but it just seems to missing anything else. The bitterness has an effect on the feel as well, as palate almost closes up and you aren't getting much but a watery base.
I'd like to say this was a good beer, but I can't. There are many session ales that are far better that are easy to find. I wanted to like this, but it let me down.

Pours a very pale amber color with a wild amount of frothy head. On the nose, the beer has an odd tropical tone coupled with metallic scents, though tangerine, mango, and pineapple do dominate. On the palate, moderate bitterness pairs in with the same bold fruitiness, and a finish that is more citric, with clementines coming through. An odd pale ale, I can't say it is something I would readily buy again but it is neat enough.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Clear light mahogany colored body with a decent, bubbly tan head.
My sample looked OK but both the aroma and the flavor suggested contamination. It was drinkable, although I wouldn't want a full pint, tasting way more like a Belgian Pale Ale than an IPA.

Pours a deep copper color with 2 fingers of head with decent retention and good lacing. The nose hits caramel malt first with some decent hop aromas (citrus and pine). This beer has a big flavor consdering its 4% ABV; caramel malt profile with some citrus and pine tar finishing with a nice American bittering punch. Medium light body and good carbonation make it light, refreshing and easy-drinking. A nice session ale for sure!
