Big, bold, hoppy, bitter in all the right ways, with rye malt complemented by liberal doses of Columbus, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops. With piney citrusy goodness in the nose, followed by an awesome malty hit with just the right amount of bitterness to make it a memorable IPA, and finishing off with that unmistakable fruity hop finish that only Columbus and Mosaic hops can provide.
This full bodied ale has an aggressive hop aroma but is balanced out by a malty sweetness and the unmistakable spicy sharpness of the rye. Try it with aged cheese, braised meat, or marinated tofu.

Coppery amber with a moderate head. Citrus hop nose. Smoth malt body with spicy rye notes and a well-matched hoppy finish. Good-tasting brew.

Picked this up at Cristall Wine Merchants. 650 ml bottle.
A: My father described it as the colour of rum and coke. With a lot of rum, I'd say. Visible carbonation. Minimal head, but what's there sticks around.
S: Herbal, grassy hops.
T: Nice and bitter, but also a bit sweet. Hop flavours are mostly herbal, a bit of pine on the finish.
F: Smooth and on the heavier side.
Disclaimer: I have a cold and should probably give this a rereview when I'm not sick.
