Refreshingly tart and awesomely sessionable. This beer began with a 48-hour sour mash, in which our Lactobacillus friends thrived, partied and arm-wrestled.

A late hop addition imparts a fruity aroma which balances the sour malt base.

Nova Scotia cranberries dry out the finish and add a bold depth of flavour and colour.

Brewed in collaboration with rogue brewer Karen Allen.

Comes in a cork sealed 355ml Bottle and pours a hazy light salmon colour. Berries, malt, and yeast flavour smell is followed by some wine aromas. The first sip is fruity sour with some oak tannin and wine scents. After more than 12 months in wood the beer finishes smooth and dry

Very pleasant but not over the top. The souring and cranberry are both restrained.

Hazy pinkish-orange with a modest head. Sour fruit nose. Light, thin body with cranberry tartness. Rather cider or Berliner Weisse-like.

Poured from a 650 ml bottle, label says it was bottled Dec 6.

A: Cloudy amber with just a little head.
S: Well, I smell the sourness, the cranberry, and just maybe the wheat.
T: Ooh, nicely sour. Some cranberry tartness and a little bitterness.

On tap at the brewery taproom.

Very light golden body with a large white head. A subtle reddish tint to both of these.

Feel: Very light body but, given the lively medium-high carbonation, not watery.

Moderately tart but otherwise mild. Fruity but lacking a clear or pronounced cranberry flavor.

Overall: a refreshing and relatively easy drinking sour.
