A classic Belgian style Tripel brewed with traditional ingredients and aged 8 months in oak is a perfect addition to your late afternoon fire-side relax during the holidays. Lightly toasted brown bread and biscuit play nicely with an upfront slightly bitter spiciness of cloves and nutmeg. Hints of oak and dried stone fruit of figs are blended together seamlessly and are enhanced by lively effervescence and a smooth, soft mouthfeel. The result is a delicious, complex, and well-balanced beer, perfect for sipping and sharing in front of the fire.

Lovely color and lacing; the white head dies down quickly enough.
Carbonation is a bit more subdued than I'd expect, but I'm not complaining.
Malty sweet with plenty of caramel flavors. A high ABV but the malts can support it.
I need more of this.

Hazy amber with a modest head. Sweet biscuit nose with some lovely oak notes. Full, smooth malty body with a little Belgian yeast dryness to finish. The 11% alcohol is well-hidden. A lovely sipping beer for Christmas.
