Stopped in at the Suamico location late on a Saturday night, early in the summer — pretty quiet and slow. Had two beers and a sample of a third — one was good and one was fair, and the sample was good but not too exciting. All told, seemed like it might be uneven with some fine options…but not sure I’d be in a hurry to go back.

We thought this place was a joke when we pulled up and saw the renovated garage/tasting room. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, friendliness of the brewer/bartender and the quality selection of beer.

Located next to the Von Stiehl winery, right near the Lake, steps from a small park, in the heart of downtown Algoma. .. in a garage!
It's small. There is a main area with an L-shaped bar that seats about 8. If memory serves me (been a month or so), there are a couple 2 seater tables in the main area as well. There is also a sun-room on the back with a few round tables that seat 2-3 at each.
It's small enough to be cozy but not claustrophobic. Definitely more of a quiet, small-town, catch up on the local news, read a paper type place. Big fan.
No food available (except bags of chips) but I do believe you can bring something in from a local restaurant.
Several pretty standard options available when I was last there. The Chocolate Milk Stout being the highlight, and it was very good. The Lager is nice and the IPA was tasty.
Pint prices are good to very good.
Definitely worthy of a stop if you are out that way.
