This strong German Wheat ale exhibits complex aromas of dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla, subtle spice, and hints of banana, while suspended yeast adds a creamy mouthfeel complimenting the rich, bready flavor. Wether you have balls or not, you’ll Goat crazy for this beer!

Poured from a 16oz can.
On the pour a nearly three finger off white to tan head with some larger bubbles on top of a hazy amber red body. Carbonation is fine and plentiful. Head recedes to 0.5cm after a few minutes. No true lacing but some foam sticks to the glass.
Aroma is yeasty but in a more tropical phenolic way then a banana-y ester way as all german style weizens should have in my opinion. Despite that, there is some nice fruity notes being thrown with a backing of dark malty, slightly spicy, breads. Still aroma is quite fresh and no alcohol comes through.
The taste is very nice. Slightly more estery, and carries a definite dark malty flavor. Slight caramel with a nice nuttiness before a generally soft wheat flavor creeps in and rounds everything out. Hop bitterness is at first faint but slowly builds. Again very clean and refreshing for 8.2 ABV.
Feel is certainly full with almost a slickness on the palate as you first sip, but it quickly dries out and leaves a generally warming but dry malty sensation for a long finish. Not super thick or overwhelming like some beers of this style.
Overall the aroma had me worried this would be some funky interpretation of the style, but the taste and mouth feel are super drinkable for the syle, but definitely armchair worthy.
