Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a brilliant copper color. It is topped with several inches of tan head that leaves excellent lacing.
The nose starts out with a little mango. The pepper seems to want to dominate. It is earthy with hints of citrus. Vegetal.
It starts out with a little mango. Then is has some citrus and bitterness. Pine follows. The pepper is more in the aftertaste with a lighthearted tickle of the back of my tongue and throat.
Light bodied with a thin mouthfeel
I try almost every fruit and hot pepper beer I see. None live up to my expectations. I guess I'm just hard to please.
