Excellent fest from Bluejacket! Cheers brother! This nice
brew pours a clear medium dark amber with a nice head of
white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and
displays some nice lacing. Noe of toasted malt, biscuit, cereal
grains, and caramel malts. Flavors surpass the nose by presentation
with honey and caramel malts, toasted malts and light breaded
notes with balanced herbal hop notes. Excellent mouth feel; medium
carbonation that is lively and refreshing, medium light body, and
a lightly dry finish that hits the spot.
Overall----a fest to enjoy!
Cheers!

12 ounce can, canned on 09/14/20. Website says 6% ABV, can says 5.7% ABV. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear orange/amber color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like toasted malt, caramel, spicy hops and a bit of dried fruit/apple. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma to me. Mostly malt-forward but enough hops for the style. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth, a bit slick and very easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Glad I picked this up at the brewery this past weekend, I thought it was a solid easy drinking märzen. Worth stopping at the brewery if you're ever in Findlay! $9.99 a 6-pack.
