Brilliantly clear, light caramel in color, forming a small light beige head with good retention and sparse lacing. Carbonation is mild to moderate. Aroma is light and clean with mild sweetness and a bit of yeast dregs. Taste begins at first with a note of fusel alcohols, followed by a touch of herbal hob astringency..caramel and butterscotch, rubber, and wet grain husks. Not a very good Oktoberfest. Finish is unsatisfying. Mouthfeel is bright with a medium body.
