Pours from the growler to a lightly hazed yellow orange color. You can tell it's been filtered, but not to the point that it robs all of the Hefe Weizen characters. Aromas of banana esters and malty yeasts. Taste is similar, with lots of banana and clove notes, some light malt and wheat notes. Nice. Mouthfeel is uneventful, the lower levels of carbonation don't really make it to the palate. Drinkability is north of average. I like that they went with a less common style of beer and did well with it. Worth trying
