A: Deep dark brownish black color. Small head of dense brown white foam. Low carbonation due to cask serving.
S: Creamy notes of chocolate malt and cocoa, with overtones of mild cream. Quite nice.
T: Similar to the name, mild overtones of grain and cocoa, with nuances of sweet cream and woody smoke. Very nice. Not overly complex, but straighforward and enjoyable.
M: Dense and rich. Creamy. Very well presented on a cask presentation.
D: Good. Would make a nice offering for the winter months.
Notes: Likely Bonfire's last hurrah, yet it's still a good beer, and makes me wish they were gonna be around for the long haul.
