Black, almost no foam.
Toasted nose, liquorice, some bitter notes (artichoke) ed un leggero speziato e piccante.
The taste starts toasted, followed by a light peppery and spicy (chili pepper?). And an interesting chocolate.
It just lacks a bit of cremosity and "importance".

Bottle sample @ Brassigaume 2012. Dark brown, edging slightly to black with a tanned head. Some mocha in the nose, chocolate malts, lightly creamy hops, milk chocolate. Tastes of sweet milk chocolate, caramel, toffee, cream, dark sugar, sweet liquorice, herbs, some coca-cola. Medium to light bodied – not that bad / not that great either.
