Piccolo Birrificio Clandestino “Cinque & Cinque”
Alla spina from the brewery at the Il Desco: Cibo 4.0 food festival in Arezzo, IT on 30/11/2019
Look: Hazy (unfiltered) golden body beneath a full head of white foam. Better than average head retention and lacing.
Smell: Sweet, sugary golden malt and Belgian yeast spiciness and clove.
Taste: As the aroma suggest but very nicely balanced by a firm bitterness and never cloying. Mainly dry finish with some spiciness lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently effervescent then smooth.
Overall: Really quite well done. Flavorful and balanced.
