Dark amber colour and a good head, but it quickly fades. Coupled with the high level of carbonation, it makes this beer look too much like a coke. Smell of yeast, pear and caramel. Taste has this flavours as well, together with a nice honey accent. This makes the beer sweet, but not too much. Some extra fruits make an appearance in the taste as well: cherries and a tad of lemon zest. Mouth feel is medium and quite smooth, but the carbonation makes it a bit stingy after the swallowing. France is filled with these kind of beers: amber belgian pale ales. This one is quite good: give it a try when in the Tours area with its beautiful castles.

Excellent starting head of four fingers. Recedes slowly with many peaks. Chunky blanketing lace. The color of the brew is light brown/dark amber. Cloudy.

Soft malt with a distinctively sour component to the nose. Low hop and a touch of yeast completes the smell.

First note is the spritziness of the beer. The body is okay but the carbonation is quite high. The flavor is sweet but not too cloy. There's an acidic touch at the swallow but it does not translate to a long aftertaste. Low hop and a bit of yeast bite completes the taste. Overall, it is a pleasant Amber but not very interesting.
