A murky brown beer with a small tan head. The smell is mostly malt, with faint alcohol and subtle sweet notes. A toffee aroma comes through as the beer warms up. The taste is malty, high ABV comes through on each sip, some molasses flavors as well. Strong spice like aftertaste. A medium mouthfeel, pretty smooth, and a good balance of flavor. Overall a good sipping beer packed with flavor.
