Appearance: Clear mahogany body under an average size beige head and scant lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, chocolate, winter spices.
Taste: Not as sweet as the nose suggests. Herbal hops compete against the toasted malts. Malts win. Crisp, dry aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, decently carbonated. Finish is short lived.
Overall: Pretty close to a Dunkel although that may not have been the brewers intent.
