Coriolis is a collaborative brewing effort with our food friends at Roc’s Brewing Company in Sydney, Australia offered only once a year. This imperial wet hop IPA marries the unique nuances of southern hemisphere hops with the freshest American wet hops. Its our way of celebrating the bounty of the most incredible hop growing region on the planet with you.
Australian summer hops, New Zealand Rakau, Wakau, and Motueka hops provide balanced citrus, mellow and light stone fruit notes. We also load up our hop back with almost 100 pounds of Sorachi Ace and Amarillo Wet Hops.
These hops are picked, shipped and used within hours thanks to our amazing relationship with the hop farmers up in Yakima Valley.

Wtf is this? It's not a wet hop DIPA as the label indicates. It's a malty mess that tastes like a beer made by a first-time home brewer. It has no hop character in the smell, or any semblance in the taste. This beer should be labeled as a light barleywine or scotch ale. For an DIPA, it's a total mess. It honestly makes me angry to drink this.

This beer is being billed as a American Double IPA, just to be cleared.
10.5% abv off a 22 oz bottle, poured was very orange-coloured with huge carbonation. Feels is syrupy and dense, better suited for an imperial stout than a double IPA. Huge sweetness with no discernible hop flavor, just a huge wave of soda-liked dense sweetness without any telling of malt or hop.
Hard to say I am drinking a double IPA. Actually I'm unsure of what this is, this could be a strong ale or a herbed/spiced beer for what I know. Overall a fairly poor beer that tastes nothing like the style it's supposed to be and it just does not taste good overall.
