I shared a tall boy can of this beer with my old boss whilst at a conference in La Quinta, California. It poured an opaque dark mahogany with tan head that left no lace. The scent had coffee notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet chocolate malt base with mocha espresso presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
