Millennium Buzz Beer is a hemp-based red lager made with the finest B.C. hemp, dark roasted Alberta malt and choice German hops. It's cold-filtered with no preservatives or additives. This healthy mix of pure, wholesome ingredients - plus the natural goodness of hemp - accounts for its singularly clean, smooth refreshing taste.

Cold 355ml can poured into a half-pint mustard mug. No production date. 5% abv
Beautiful dark ruby/copper colour, & transparent. A one finger tan head of medium bubbles forms, then recedes quickly, without leaving any lace.
Smells sweet and a little bit fruity, but mild.
Quite sweet - caramel & raisin, and general dark sugars are the flavours that come to mind. No big hops taste here. has a nice, somewhat creamy feel to it. I don't smell or taste hemp, but maybe it smells/tastes different in malted form? The aftertaste is sugar-y.
I hadn't seen this for sale in a years, so I decided to give it a go. It's the darkest and the thickest of Cool Brewery's concoctions, to be sure. It's very sweet, and unbalanced, but it's a tasty beer none the less. The Aftertaste might be off-putting for some - it coats the inside of the mouth like cola. Hemp is listed as the last ingredient behind yeast, which makes me wonder how much hemp actually goes into making it. This beer reminds me of a mild British ale with different yeast. I like it. If you liked St. Andre, but thought "this could be thicker, stronger, darker, and sweeter", Millennium Buzz may be for you.

M- Ok.
O- Don't know what hemp is to taste like but this nice beer is ok
Food Pairing

A: Dark brown copper, light haze, no carbonation, 2 fingers of off white head with little retention.
S: Canned peas, slightly stale, much like a mainstream macro lager.
T: Canned peas, stale, macro lager like. Light toasted notes, but as I said.
M: Medium slightly oily body, medium low carbonation.
O: Got it due to the branding of being a ‘hemp’ beer. The can being smaller than normal and style are cool, but all round smell and flavor are lacking.
