Quite an impressive Bourbon barrel-aged stout from Madrid... Deep, sticky, boozy, with complex wood... Surprising high quality offering from La Virgen. Maybe overlooked, as I understand they were bought out a few years ago by some macro distributors. But their quality bar does not seem to have gone down. Sorry to give this a short review. As I sip it, this has memories of classic GI Bourbon County offerings. It is in that neighborhood...
