Lumpy tan chunks over cola black. 4
Rubber, anise and mint. 3.5
Licorice and ash, rye spice, creeping burnt tar, some herbal and pine bite. Long bitter linger. 3.75
Light-medium, salty, smooth. 4
Collaboration with Letra from Lisbon, Portugal.
Summit, Cascade, Calypso Dry hopped with Mosaic.
At expiry date, so gotta figure all those aroma hops are gone - no citrus or fruit like the label says. IBUs, rye spice, and roast all show up in spades, which shows it’s fundamentally well-constructed. Skews medicinal, though, between herbal hops and astringent roast. And there’s a big thread of autolyzed rubber from being in the bottle too long. Not gonna rate this too harsh - it was probably great fresh. 4
