Located in a storefront in an older neighborhood. Street parking and a public parking lot to the back. Ceiling is exposed to the beams. Legacy brick wall behind the bar. Wood plank floor. Bar with stools. Other seating at low tables and some with a cushioned booth back. Fifteen taps with five mains and ten seasonals. Full scratch kitchen. View of brewing equipment in the back. Seasoned and cordial staff. Shows some old neighborhood character.

i liked it here, surprised others have not rated it more favorably, perhaps things have changed recently? i had a great experience here, its long and narrow with the brewery itself in the back and a nice outside seating area. very busy, bustling vibe in here, more like an urban coffee house than a brewery, with a big sort of open kitchen. ten or so beers on tap, they few i had were great, especially the brewers duet, a coffee ale with great roasted barley notes and fresh espresso. the rye pale was also really good. i sat at the bar and had some sort of disinterested service, but the people walking around were friendly and all. they had an impressive food menu, and i had a great bowl of soup in here, but would have liked to stay and try some more items, everything coming out to the tables looked really tasty. i dont really get the negativity others have seemed to suggest, it was great here, and the beer was way ahead of infusion down the road, at least in the smatterings of flavors i had from each. i will be back for sure, it was cool here.

A nice little place with decent food, and a fairly good selection of their own brews. Their beers I had ranged from a couple ok, a few solid, and 2-3 quite interesting beers. They had a couple English style offerings, seeming to lean more to that side that American in their bitter and brown styles. I really enjoyed their experiments with flavors, as I found they did a good job balancing the non-traditional notes with the standard flavors.

First the beers. They were unique and good. All above average brews, and again unique styles.
The food was good. They are working on sourcing more local foods. They also have a new chef and menu which hopefully improves the food. A good place to check out if you are in Benson.

Benson Brewery is a great new brewery to hit omaha. I had the opportunity to meet both the head chief and part owner as well as the master brewer. They were both awesome people and super knowledgeable. The head chief was super passionate about what he does and it shows in his food. I just had the beer brat but it was very tasty and unique as a brat could be. The master brewer previously brewed at Odell's and was also very knowledgable and passionate about what he does and it shines through in there beers. At the present time they are serving 4 flagship beers that are very tasty. You can tell they favor malts over hops in there brews but in no way is that a bad thing. I am personally a hop head but found there malt forward beers to be very impressive and tasty with great mouth-feel and aroma. The atmosphere was great with plenty of seating and room to suit all who come. Between the Chief and the master brewer this place is one of my new favorites and I will be coming on Fridays for their Ferkin Friday which is a 10 gallon weekly release. I look forward to their future releases and will be coming down as much as possible. Great place, great beers and food and Hreat atmosphere.
