What a delightful beer! A touch on a sweet side, with a nice elegant hop bite. A beautiful rich gold color. Excellent head retention and lace. Delish!

Zlata Praha pours a light rich bronze golden and genuine effervescence upward. Thinnish white head. Breaded nose, bakery fragrant. Mild, almost imperceptible bitter. Mouthfeel is smooth. The 4.7% ABV is magnified with the 500ml bottle. Tasteful, this is definitely a good brew. Light finish.

Light golden color. Big, white head. Malty aroma with a hint of hops. Taste is very "clean" . Weak for a Czech beer. Simply a larger with bitterness.

Pours a lovely burnished golden color. Perfectly clear and effervescent. Thin, weak sudsy white head forms on the beer when it is poured. As it settles, it dissolves into a very thin, residual layer of velvety foam on the beer. Aroma has notes of sweet malt, a bit skunky, and very sweet on the nose. It has that classic skunked euro pale lager character to it.
Taste has notes of pilsner malts, some biscuit and a moderate sweetness from the malt. Pronounced grassy, herbal hops are noted. There is a noticeable minerality to the profile as well. Feel is light, crisp, easy drinking. Moderate carbonation.
Overall it's a pretty forgettable beer. Nothing offensive or outright bad (other than the light struck skunking), but its also not one I need again.
