Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a nice opaque orange with a wonderful abundance of white head (as should be the case for tripels). The nose is definitely giving off the tripel vibes. Belgian yeast, orange, black pepper, biscuits, white grapes, and a touch of honey.
The taste is really nice. Wow. Lots of spice up front. Black pepper mostly. Orange, slight lemon, cream pudding, vanilla, slightly tart (from the berries, I assume), leather, sourdough bread.
Dry mouthfeel, with a nice spice and orange on the aftertaste.
