On tap at the brewery served in a pint glass.
Look- A brownish gold color with a few centimeters of off white foam. It quickly settles to a thin layer leaving a little lacing behind.
Smell- Perfume/floral hops with some mango, followed by caramel malt sweetness.
Taste- Very floral up front, followed by some grapefruit and pine. A healthy dose of malt in the finish.
Feel- Thin and slightly flat.
Overall- Truth be told we're spoiled around this end of the lake with stellar IPA choices. This one is more malty and lacking the juicy hop qualities that I crave. It reminds me of the IPA's I drank 15-20 years ago. While not terrible, the game has progressed beyond this.
