A: Poured from a wide-mouth growler into a pint glass. Yellowish/orange in color, clear and with just a bit of effervescence. The tap was extremely foamy when pouring into the growler, so there wasn't any head when pouring it into the glass. With this in mind, I can't knock the lack of head in good faith until I encounter another similar problem.
S: Bananas and sweet cream are up-front aromas with some peppery spice notes and cloves on the back end.
T: Bright, intense flavors throughout the experience, with a boozy swallow that gives away its high abv. Bananas, cherry pie, cheesecake, cloves, some cinnamon, and a touch of grass clippings in the aftertaste. It's a biggish triple with some expanding flavors as it warms.
M: Smooth and syrupy with a dryish afterfeel. It has a slightly thin, slick presence in the mouth that is not wholly unwanted, but leaves a bit to be desired.
O: A very nice stab at a difficult beer to get right from a new brewery. If your in the Adirondack region and see this on-tap, definitely give it a try!
