Murky peach mud in body with light white head. Pungent, on the verge of nauseating, aroma of papaya, mango, kiwi, and elephant candy. Tastes of hop dust, mango, kiwi, papaya, pine, booze. Thick in body with medium carbonation.

Cans sold as 4 pk and had stickers over original can title.
Good taste, fresh get and solid DIPA with upstate water!

My first review, I'm just getting into good ipa's. Poured into a pint glass from a can. This is one of my favorite ipa's. It pours very bubbly, tons of white frothy head. It's a nice orangish, yellow hue. It looks lovely. The taste is initially mildly hoppy and ends with a very fruity, sweet aftertaste. Sweeter than any IPA I've had so far. I guess I haven't developed a very good sense of feel and smell yet but it looks and tastes amazing.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a finger high frothy bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pine resin hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste starts off with flavors of cantaloupe melons and notes of passionfruit and finishes with pine resin, the latter of which lingers into the aftertaste. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Imperial IPA tastes very "juicy" and does a very good job at masking most of the alcohol from the taste.

On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a nice hazy yellow, glowing and bright, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like melon, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and passionfruit, with a lot of resin on the nose, as well.

This is quite resinous and very bitter, but it doesn't manage to overwhelm the nicely juicy hop flavors, all sorts of exotic and soft fruit flavors- they're listed above so I won't list them again. There's not much in the way of malt character at all.

This one has a crisp and bitingly bitter mouthfeel to it, with a good level of carbonation.

This is pretty interesting, and has a lot of characteristics that I really like in IPAs- huge juicy and fruity hops, but still served with heavy bitterness.

Where to start with this beer? The Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin hops practically burst with tropical, fruity, citrusy goodness, and the alcohol is completely hidden. The bitterness level is perfect - present without masking any nuances - and the residual sweetness provides just the right backbone to complement the hops. Along with Foley Brothers' Prospect and Other Half's Mylar Bags, these are easily my favorite Double/Imperial IPAs of 2016.
