Paradox Brewery is an independent craft brewery founded in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains brewing innovative beer of the highest quality.
Our roots trace 30 years back to when our president and founder, Paul Mrocka, fell in love with beer and brewing in Germany while stationed as an army pilot.
After a few decades of brewing for friends and family, Paul's beer became fairly well known in and around Paradox Lake. Those lucky enough to know where on the lake to go, could get in their boats and go grab a beer with Paul. At this time, he was was brewing 200 gallons per year in order to keep up with the demand for his tasty (and free) lake beer.
The foundation of our beer is within the water we use which can only be found in the granite 600 feet below the Adirondack Park. Water that is so pure, it needs no filtering or treatment before we brew it with the best malts and hops we can find. We combine these ingredients with our passion for great beer and the result is “Pure Adirondack.”
This 25,000 square foot brewery can produce 50,000 barrels a year using state of the art GEA Craft-Star systems along with a Westfalia centrifuge and a CFT Mfg canning line.

I really like the vibe with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a separate outdoor bar under a pavilion. Beer selection was excellent with a variety of styles and what we tried was average to a little above. Service could have been better. Our server never check on us after we received our flights. We only had the pretzel with their own IPA cheese so I can't honestly review their food, but what I saw being served looked pretty dang good.

The place itself has a pretty good vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a separate outdoor bar under a pavilion. Beer selection was excellent with a variety of styles and what we tried was quality. Definite German influence on their selection which pairs well with their food menu of pizza, brats, etc. Glad we stopped.

really neat place here, somehow i have not been here before now, but have been enjoying their beers awhile now. they have a wonderful new space, a sort of destination, not far off the highway and on some land, spacious inside with a beer hall vibe, windows with views everywhere, open air feel, a look down to the sizable brewing operation below from windows behind the bar, can bodies stacked to the deck, they are obviously making moves. there is a killer patio here too on two sides of the place, elevated from the ground level out the back and with views of the peaks, just stunning. they also have a few pavilions outside for food and music, an outside bar, adirondack chairs all over the property, a fire pit, its just wonderful, and a hundred people could easily spread out comfortably here, maybe two hundred. they had a nice list of beers on when we hit them up, loosely german themed overall with their lagers but we had hoppy stuff and even a saison, all solid, nothing epic, but they are technically solid from top to bottom. we had a pizza that was awesome to, and their whole food menu looked good, all in service of the beer it seems. service was incredibly friendly and warm, responsive, and enjoyable, and prices were very fair. they have a great thing going, and even though we didnt drink a beer at the level that would put them on the national map, they certainly seem like they arent far off from that, and are already becoming a regional powerhouse. i love the space, its wonderful, and the production capacity is impressive, they seemed poised for big things. i am a fan!

Small fun brewery located in the heart of Adirondack State Park in the Adirondacks mountains of NY. Pales and IPAs are their specialty, and their Pilsner is excellent!

Very welcoming brewery in the Adirondacks. Easy stop off the Northway at Schroon Lake. Local band was playing the day we visited. Good beer selection and nice folks behind the bar. They will fill your growler, or sell you one.

It right off the Northway (87). Owner is very friendly and the beers are high quality and very good. Took two growlers home! Worth the trip if you're near Lake George.
