Thanks to ilovedarkbeer for sharing this growler.
This beer is from the Northwest Highway location. The beer pours a dark reddish brown color with an off-white head. The aroma is heavy on the butterscotch and also smells a little like cornbread. The aroma is sweet, caramel malt as well as buttery, freshly made cornbread. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
A very odd beer that is not much like a traditional Scottish ale, but is also not a bad beer although I am not sure if I would like to have it again.
