The first commercial batch was a collaboration with our good friends at DryHop Brewers. To break from tradition this beer uses Simcoe and Citra in the boil and dryhop. A smooth drinking big beer with big flavors of orange, pineapple and pear. Expect the Devil to return.

Pours hazy yellow with a finger plus head that settles rather quickly.
Smell clove, banana, orange, and some hints of grapefruit.
Taste follows way over done with the Belgian Yeast, but more because I was not expecting this beer to be this, wish I had it on a completely fresh palate. Orange and grapefruit poke in for a matter of seconds.
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, plenty of life, a tad dry maybe, and alcohol is slightly present but still goes down easy enough at 9.2% ABV.
Overall this is more Belgian Double than Imperial IPA and I prefer it the other way around. Thanks jzeilinger for this can.

A - Pours a hazy medium white gold color (almost like a blonde ale but not quite). Thick frothy white lacing and a moderate amount of carbonation. Lacing is very sticky.
S - Aroma is citrus, bubble gum, and a slight bit of yeast.
T - Citrus, bubble gum, grapefruit, light tropical fruit, some earthiness, and a slight hint of peppery citrus on the backside. A little bit of alcohol pokes through but ever so slight.
M - Thick and viscous with light carbonation giving way to a light silky layer on the tongue. About 1/3 through some resin starts to build and coat the mouth.
O - This is a nice D-IPA, glad I bought a 4-pk. This is actually a Belgian Style Double IPA so don't expect big bold American hop flavor. The flavor is soft and well blended, Une Année did a nice job with this one.

Wow dont know how an IPA could go much worse. Smells sour like its infected. Feels like bad moonshine in the mouth. Tastes incredibly terrible. Tried a 2nd can just to be sure and I wouldn't give this beer to my worst enemy. Big disappointment from 2 of my favorite breweries.

750 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 8/30/17, had 9/12/17.
Pours a lightly hazy yellow/orange, with a two inch head and some soapy lacing. Aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, mango, some tangerine, light yeast and malt, some pine. The taste mostly follows the nose- pineapple, grapefruit, mango, tangerine, light pine, some malt, a little lime. Also lightly bready, but don’t quote me on that. Smooth, refreshing, well carbonated, a solid lighter body.
A nice hop blend, enjoyable to drink. Nothing unique or special, but certainly worth a try.

Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Cloudy golden peach pour. 3 fingers of foamy white head. Great retention and sticky lacing.
S: Tropical fruits and summer stone fruit. Citrus and resin.
T/F: Grainy malt backbone... big time fruit flavor. Loads of tropicals.. mango and pineapple. A bit of peach/summer fruit. Citrus is present but not dominant... tangerine and grapefruit. Well balanced... not overly bitter. Well carbonated... zesty.. the finish is a strong bouquet of fruit.
O: A super double IPA collaboration between Un Annee and DryHop Brewers. Just a great beer... NE style IPA bursting with flavor. Super drinkable... wish this was always available.

Body is shades of neon yellow with ring of white bubbles. Smell is full of tropical fruits and some orange, lemon and some mild hops. Taste lets those tropical fruits fly: especially pineapple and mango. Supporting is lime, lemon, peach, orange, sour yeast, and bright hops. Feel is a little funky, little sour, but ultimately smooth and refreshing.

Pours a cloudy gold color with an enormous and persistent white head.
Smell was very bread like at first from the yeast, then citrus and pepper notes came into play.
Starts out with fruit flavors, I can detect pineapple and pear and some citrus. There is a bit of Belgian funk there, and finishes with a lingering hop bitterness.
Feel is very smooth, goes down nice and easy.
Very Belgian in character, but a little less sweet than I expect from the style. I find the alcohol well hidden, it is very easy to drink considering the strength. One thing I like about this brewery is they nail the Belgian styles better than most, and this beer is no exception. Worth a try just to show how well a US brewery can make a Belgian beer.
