Le Seul VII pours a golden color, with a fair amount of bubbles, and a small, but lacing head. Aroma is tart, woody, and oaky. Flavor is tart, hints of bright oak, and sweet mango. Good body and flavor. Overall, a very tart ale, balanced with some sweet mango, very very enjoyable.

American Wild Ale with Mango. As far as I can tell it is soured in oak.
First appearance is your typical golden sour. Slightly cloudy to some modest haze but nothing truly out of place. No head retention and I didn't expect any anyways.
Oak and Brett are the dominant aromas at first, and then the Mango shows up. It is not exactly the most pleasant in combination with the barn-y character. It is very unique at least, but it mostly conjures up wet packed grass, pineapple, moss funk, and dehydrated mangoes.
Finding it a bit harder to pick out notes here with the top-heavy sourness. Mango and pineapple start, along with a touch of white vinegar and a light funkiness. As the beer off-gasses the mango becomes a bit more prominent.
Very high acidity. I would like to assume the carbonation here is all natural. Sourness ranges to high, there is some concentration of acetic acid here as well and some may find that hard to enjoy.
Impressive but not without somethings that bugged me. As it exists it is fun to marvel at right now but it could be quite close to too acetic and it's nose is off-putting for the most part. Flavor is still great and sours like this really capture the controlled sharp-ness that Wild Ale can do.

Pours a cloudy gold color with little head of lacing. Slightly funky notes of Brett that mingle with mango. Taste is more zesty mango over the funky Brett background. Crisp, mildly dry finish, subtly boozy. Good.

Murky light orange body with no head. Mango, lemon, lime, orange, and peach all oak soured, make up the nose. Taste is more tropical with mango, pineapple, pink guava, lots of lacto, and the citrus from the smell, plus an acidic and sour pucker on the finish. Body is bright and light, but works with the overall acidity and flavor combo
