From a bomber bottle at the 2018 Decatur Beer Fest.
Pours with a hazy apricot colored body topped with a weak white head.
Pungent and tart aroma, with hints of ripe fruits and wet leather.
The flavor largely follows.
Medium body with medium carbonation. A bit harsh.
Overall : juicy and bold!

Light golden yellow body, half finger white head. Essentially grapefruit zest and pulp, light lemon, and the moderate acidity. It's hard to recognize that this is a beer; it really does taste like squeezed grapefruit juice.

A: Pours a murky pinkish/red color. A bubbly, fizzy white head forms and recedes in a second with no lace. Which reminds me of Champagne.
S: Grapefruit rind, with a light juicy character in the nose. Cheesy funk, and very acidic. This is very simple.
T: A touch of grapefruit rind with a puckering sourness. Acidity is very high here. With a bit of that cheesy funk that was in the nose as well. While enjoyable up front, the acidity takes it toll and becomes overbearing.
M/O: A light to medium body, With very lively and effervescent carbonation. Enjoyable in small doses, but like I said that acidity takes over and becomes the entire show. Which makes this a chore to sip on after a while, and I am looking for something to counter the acidic bite.

If you are a fan of the other Le Seul variations, this is very similar. Very simple, with some fruit additions, funky, and overly acidic. If you are splitting with somebody, this might be more enjoyable than drinking it by yourself.

Reddish cloudy orange, thin layer of foam, minimal lace.
Smell was cheese rind and a vague pink grapefruit acidity.
Taste was tart, not much discernible grapefruit, Brett forward tangy aftertaste.
Medium bodied, average carbonation, could've used more.
These beers are very similar, little variation between this and the mango version served side by side.
