Une Annee wilds have been a mixed bag for me, wherein I generally find their barrel-aged Grand Monde series impeccable, but the Le Seul series is hit or miss. This one manages to be both, with a nice grilled pineapple character doing its best not to be drowned out by a highly-acidic, one-note sour base.

Murky orange, thin skim around the edges.
Aroma is pineappley at first, with a emergent diacetyl butter note coming out as it warms.

Tart pineapple, juicy and puckering. Light Brett in the aftertaste, popcorn kernel and cheese rind. Distinct pineapple impression, juicy feel, light carb level.

Overall good stuff, aroma was a little off but not distracting.
