No watermelon scent or taste, just tart-sour lemon. Highly acidic.

Thanks Kirb for the share on this one. 750ml bottle into a snifter appears pale yellow with a white cap.
It smells refreshing with lemony lactic character and not much else. Quite clean smelling for including an adjunct that otherwise usually smells like sulfur.
It tastes sour with the faintest melon hint that gets grassy and lemony into the aftertaste.
This is light in body with light carbonation. A pretty nice sour that was more enjoyable than I was expecting. Well done.

Pours a pale gold yellow, good amount of head. Aroma is pretty straightforward tart wheat / yeast, not much depth, flavor follows suit, you really can’t detect much watermelon flavor, just some earthy yeast and tartness. Other Le Seul usually do a very good job with the adjunct so maybe this one was just past its optimal date.
