750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Had 2/13/18.
Pours a bright, cloudy pink, with a two inch foamy head with good retention and lots of creamy lacing. Smells tart, lightly sour. Aromas of plums, light cherries, some yeast and malt, spices, light lemon, some grapes, light black pepper when warm. The taste is plums, some lemon, a little cranberry and currant, yeast, light malt, spices, light vanilla and wine. A good amount of sourness, lightly tart, kind of wheaty. Mostly smooth, a good light to medium body, well carbonated.
The plums are prominent, well balanced flavors, a nice level of sourness. Very enjoyable and well worth a purchase at a decent price point.
