Look: Very dark red with a mild brown tint. Two fingers of fizy white head with a slight pink tint that quickly dissipates.
Smell: Strong smell of the raspberries, blackberries, and redcurrants used. Mild farmhouse funk underneath.
Taste: Like a sour candy. Still maintains the fruit flavor, but with a heavy, puckering sourness that can be slightly excessive. Not much of the barnyard in it.
Mouthfeel: Average, slightly thin body with very heavy carbonation.
Overall: Between the high sourness and carbonation, a lot of the more subtle notes get lost. This beer needs some better balance.

Cellared bottle. Amber with purple twinges in the body with some dark white foam. Smell is tart, boozy and slightly acidic blackberry first, then raspberry, red currants and dried cherry. Taste is is pretty much as smell hinted, but the booze is not as revealed. Little earthiness in the taste here and there. Does well to capture darkness of fruit flavors with a moderate tart pucker. Heavy for a sour, but very smooth without being overly acidic.

9/16/18 (Niles): $6.07 6 oz wine glass draft pour at Une Annee Brewery. Light red colour, light thin white rim carbonated ring. Grape blackberry aroma, sweet but not too sweet. Very sweet taste, slightly tart, raspberries and blackberries stand out. Carbonation holds, fizzy light mouth feel. Overall very good offering.
