Dark red/purple with magenta foam. Smell is sweet red wine with a touch of vanilla, slightly acidic, very boozy. Taste is very harsh, acidic and sour black currant, black raspberry, red wine, and jolly rancher, very unbalanced but redeemable for a few sips. However I couldn't finish the glass, too harsh, would give me heartburn for sure. Une Annee/Hubbard's Cave is capable of top shelf stuff, but they also have way too many duds, this being one of them.

The small pour I had out of a shared bottle, red like wine with no foam. Smells aggressively sour, that light acid aroma and some fruit. But the taste, what the hell, so sour and dry I spit it out. Mouth felt like I had just sucked on a lime, puckered cheeks, angry. Never have I felt so disappointed by this brewery.
