Pours a dark brown with a ruby-purple tinge from the berries, a bit muddy with sediment. Good balance of oak and malt with the added fruits. As it warms, I get more malt and grain notes, akin to some of the fruited sour and stout blends that Une Annee has released.

Dark brown with some purple tinting, trace amounts of lace. Smell is boozy with berries, brown sugar, and molasses. Taste is very pungent, with sour berry, boozy malt, and a heaping of vinegar in with the brown sugar, molasses, oak, and a hint of coffee. Sip slowly. While it certainly is true to style, it needs more time to age, very hot, this is reflected in the feel too, boozy and tart. If given time to balance with the underlying oud bruin elements, this could be excellent, but for now just ok
