Barrel aged Belgian inspired imperial stout with coffee & vanilla.

750 ml bottle into a snifter. 2019 edition, had 5/15/20.
Pours a mostly opaque dark brown, with no real head and specks of cling. Aromas of vanilla, chocolate, marshmallow, coffee, malt, cocoa, light bourbon. The flavor shows much more bourbon, then vanilla, chocolate, malt, coffee, cocoa, a little oak. Smooth, a good but thinner full body, appropriately carbonated.
Great vanilla, good barrels. Just as much chocolate comes through as coffee, and they’re both good. Could have a heftier feel, but it’s not much of a negative. Really enjoyable.
