750 ml bottle into a snifter. 2019 issue, had 6/19/20.

Pours a dark brown, more garnet colored in the light, mostly opaque with no real head and some light cling. The aroma starts with a big blast of blueberries on the open, then cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, some bourbon, some malt, light caramel. The flavor begins with more cinnamon than the nose, blueberries, bourbon- also more than the aroma, chocolate, some vanilla, light oak. Smooth, a very good full body that’s a touch thinner for the style, appropriately carbonated.

This is a well constructed solid effort. Lots of good blueberry aroma and flavor, certainly at the top for any blueberry beer I’ve had. Lots of good cinnamon, too. The barrels are a little light, but effective. Let this one get warm. Very enjoyable and well worth a purchase.
