Appearance - It appears that the blood has been squeezed from a currant in the purple goodness of this beer with a light purple head.
Nose - The tart currant is very much there, but the vanilla really stands out in the nose.
Taste - The currant is noticeably tart, but the vanilla really softens things. It almost seems like a nice dessert. It ran a little acidic toward the back, but did not strip away tooth enamel.
Mouthfeel - The head was downright frothy, with overall carbonation being quite noticeable.
Overall - This is a sour I can enjoy.
